Motor racing has been a favourite past time sport for over 100 years.
The race cars are one of the many symbols of the game.  Men and women love racing and there are many ways that people love to show their enthusiasm.

Motor racing usually consists of many cars racing around a circle track or a course that has many different turns in it to make it to a final ending point.  It can also consist of two race cars side by side racing down a quarter mile track to see which car can make it there first.  This is known as drag racing.  Racing comes in all shapes and sizes when it comes to the cars.  The most famous racing events are the Formula 1 races which are staged on many race tracks around the world, and NASCAR racing in the USA.

Many race fans love to show their support by going to the track on race day to watch the event or they may watch the races at home.  They may wear clothing, hats, and even have other gear to proudly display their favourite racer or team.  People even love to purchase racing car beds for their children who are big racing enthusiasts.  The kids love them too because it encourages their love of cars and fast cars, and what child doesn't enjoy a racing car pedal toy.

Fast cars increase the adrenaline of many race fans.  They love the rush of the whizzing cars driving by and the sound of thunder on the tracks.  When a top fuel dragster or a jet engine roars by the stands the entire bleachers will shake and bring some people down to their knees.  However, they will always come back for more as the loud noises of the engines and the speed is what racing is all about.

Most race cars have sponsors unless the owner of the race car has enough money to keep the team going without the help of a sponsor.  Sponsors usually consist of oil companies, tool companies, or any organization that wants to sponsor a car.  When a sponsor gives money to the team for their contribution they have a benefit of advertising for their company, usually in the form of a sticker or an advertisement on the race car itself.  It may be painted into the car or just a decal.  Decals are the most popular today because when a new car arrives they can be moved over to the new car.  Decals are also used in the racing car beds for kids so their bed can look like the real thing once it is finally put together.

Racing cars is the past time of many people on a track and even on the streets today.  Race cars today can go up to almost 350 mph.  Racing is televised in almost every country in one shape or another.  Millions of people love the sport of racing and they show their support in many different ways.  The most popular ways of showing support for the love of the sport is to wear t-shirts, hats, and even buy things like racing car beds for their youngsters who love the sport too.
