Benefits of a Natural Mattress
Baby mattresses from The Natural Mat Company are made from 100% natural fibres. Dust mites, which are the main cause of allergies, cannot live in natural latex or organic coir. An anti-dust mite lamb’s wool (treated with lemon, lavender and eucalyptus which renders it dust mite free) is wrapped around the outside of these materials to create a soft cushioning and provide insulation in the winter and ventilation in the summer. All of the fibres used are very porous and allow for a constant air circulation. Babies are particularly sensitive to tempertures and need a well ventilated mattress so they can easily regualate their temperture while they sleep, preventing baby from overheating and allowing them to sleep safely and comfortably. These natural fibre mattresses contains no chemicals and are naturally fire retardant (BS EN59, BS7177). Choose a natural single bed mattress for standard single beds, or a baby natural cot mattress for a cot or baby cot bed. |
