Pizza Ideas, Recipes and Cooking Instructions for Children to Make some Fun Pizzas!

You can deliver your own surprising pizza at home with just a little help from Mum and Dad. Pizzas come in all sorts of great tasting bites, so let’s look at a few now. Remember, your mum and dad, or another adult must be in charge of the actual baking and should be the ones who handle the hot trays!

Funny Face Breakfast Pizza

Ingredients

1 English muffin or bagel cut in half
Tomato Sauce or prepared pizza sauce
Shredded mozzarella or cheddar cheese
Bacon bits, olive halves or mushrooms
Round biscuit cutter
Cookie sheet
Butter or vegetable spray for cookie sheet

Preheat oven to 350 degrees, let the adults do this while you prepare your funny face pizza.

Lightly grease the cookie sheet with a bit of butter or a light coating of vegetable spray.

Cut a hole completely through the muffin or bagel section with a biscuit cutter or use an upside down glass to accomplish the task. (You can get some adult help if this is too hard for you to do.)

Spread tomato or pizza sauce over the muffin and place it on the cookie sheet

Carefully crack the egg in a small bowl and then pour one egg into the hole of the muffin
Now add cheese to the top of your funny face pizza, and create a face by carefully adding slices of mushrooms or olive halves and bacon bits. You must be very careful not to damage the egg while you add the face features.

Let the adults place the pan in the oven for about 7-10 minutes, and then they can remove the cookie sheets when your funny face pizza is done.

Mini Pizza Bites

This is a great recipe that creates perfect bite size pizza slices at the very beginning. Ask your Mum or Dad to cut 2 English Muffins for you. Each Muffin half should be cut into four sections. Now you have 8 mini pizza bites to work with and you can create 8 different pizzas by mixing and matching your choices of toppings. Try adding pizza sauce to 4-5 of these snacks and leaving a few without any sauce. For topping ingredients you can use veggies, sliced tomatoes, pepperoni, pineapple, ham, sausage, ground beef, bacon bits and cheese. Always add a bottom layer of cheese, then the toppings, and then add more cheese on top. Place all of the mini pizzas on a lightly greased cookie sheet and have an adult put them into an oven that has been preheated to 425 degrees for about 7-10 minutes. When the cheese is melted nicely they will be ready.

Mega Fruit Pizza

Your parents will need to help you with this recipe at the beginning. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees and press a roll of refrigerated sugar cookie dough into a pizza pan that has a light coating of vegetable spray. The adults can place this cookie pizza into the oven to bake for about 8- 10 minutes. Then let them know when the time is up so they can remove it and let your cookie pizza crust cool.

While the cookie dough is baking you can mix together 1/2 cup sugar and 8 ounces of softened cream cheese. The adults can help you use an electric mixer for this step and you can also have them slice up fruits for you to use like kiwi, strawberries, peaches or pineapple. Add 2 teaspoons of vanilla and stir your mix until everything is smooth. When the cookie pizza crust is cool you will spread this over the entire top, just like you would do with pizza sauce and decorate with your choice of fruit toppings in fun designs and patterns.
